Saturday April 8th Music and Dance Workshops 10am-3pm

Tuition for Saturday workshops include the full day of workshops, morning warm up, all sessions and discounts to other events. (They do not include the Concert or Sunday events.)

Tuition- Saturday Workshops: Early Bird rate until March 23: $65; March 24-April 6: $75; After April 6: $80.
Special rate for Beginning Irish Social Dance and/or Irish Music 101:
Early Bird rate until March 23: $50 or $25 for a half day; March 24-April 6: $55 or $30; After April 6: $75 full day, $40 half day
What: A fun and intensive small group class in one of the many classes described on the Workshops page and an intermediate session during the lunch break. This is a great opportunity to meet other musicians and learn from the masters! It's recommended that students enroll in just one class for the day however half days are offered for the dance classes and Irish Music 101. Advanced registration required. Saturday workshop discounts for multiple family members and kids under 15 are offered - contact Laura for details.
When: Saturday April 8th Start the day with a 10am orientation to get your bearings, learn about the instructors and warm up with a tune or two. Class starts at 10:30. Lunch will be from 12-1:30. There will be at least one food truck and you're welcome to join in on the intermediate session that will be taking place at this time. Class resumes 1:30-3pm.

Saturday April 9th Irish Music Masters Concert (Performed by 2017 Trad Fest faculty) 8pm


Fee: $25 Tickets to the Saturday evening faculty concert tickets are not included in workshop fee unless you have signed up for the "full weekend package". Advanced purchase to the evening faculty concert is highly encouraged as space is limited and we anticipate a sell out.

Sunday April 9th Irish Song Repertoire with Daithi Sproule

Fee: $25 / $20 for Saturday Workshop registrants
What: A great opportunity to learn about the song tradition, increase your repertoire and learn from one of the greats.

Sunday April 9th Tune Teach with Kathleen Conneely, Rose Flanagan, and Billy McComiskey

Fee: $25 / $20 for Saturday Workshop registrants
What: Open to all instrumentalists, this is a great opportunity to increase your repertoire and learn some beautiful settings from a few of the masters. For experienced musicians.

Sunday April 9th Intro to Sean-nós (“old style”) Irish dance with Kieran Jordan

Fee: $15 / $10 with purchase of a ceili ticket or for workshop participants)
What: Irish dance class open to all levels.
When: Sunday April 9th 1:30-2:30pm

Sunday April 9th Mini Ceili

Fee: $10
What: An Irish social dance and a fantastic dance floor!. Open to all levels. Dances called by Kieran Jordan.

Online Registration is closed. Payment by check or cash will be accepted at each event.

Refund - Transfer Policies

Workshops: To qualify for a workshop or weekend package full refund, a written cancellation must be received by close of business March 10, 2017, For cancellations received by close of business March 31st, a 50 percent (50%) refund will apply. After March 31st, no refunds will be issued. Any “no-shows” will not be issued a refund. Registrations are transferrable. Requests to transfer must be made in writing to the Baltimore Irish Trad Fest Director by April 1st and a separate registration form must be completed and signed by new registrant. All requests for refunds will incur a $10.00 administrative fee per registration.

Cancellations for medical emergencies after the above deadlines will be considered on an individual basis and will require a physician's signed letter.

Concert tickets to the Concert at the Creative Alliance are non-refundable.
